In my opinion the best socks for both the gym and everyday use

I don't like open/rough or overly thick athletic socks as they are not comfortable. I'm in the zone where I don't like socks that are too thick or too thin and I want to use them in a variety of ways. What I like about them is that they're tough enough for the gym, but they're even easier to wear as casual socks without work/casual clothing. And they are comfortable. Silky feel. What I particularly like is that they are closer to my size as opposed to the one size fits all offered by the vast majority of manufacturers. I have bought two different types of socks from Revain in the past few weeks. These were, in my opinion, one of the top two socks available on the Revain website. Edit: It's a little "crumbled" or "ripped" at the bottom of the socks after a few months of heavy use, but hasn't stretched, is breathable and still comfortable while being silky to the touch. Although I still use socks when needed as I don't consider them "clothing" if I was only allowed to wear one sock that would be it. I'm a size 9 or 9 1/2 depending on the shoe. The medium fit me perfectly without being too loose which I think was an issue with more socks than I can count. It retained its original shape and did not stretch even after several months of use. Edit: I see some comments about moisture issues. I've had some issues with previous socks, I have no issues with these. In many cases it's a problem with the shoes they're wearing, but since they've spent so much on shoes, the problem MUST be the socks. Edit 11/24/2021: I have bought them several times since 2018. My opinion hasn't changed. I think you could consider them lightweight compression socks if anything fits that description, but nothing I've tried since compares to them in terms of comfort and fit. I don't have socks that go from the gym to work to everyday life like that. Nothing is perfect, but given what's available on the market, they're pretty damn close. I have had top of the line socks from Nordstrom, Saks etc for over $25 a pair and these are the best.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
