Cheap plastic for wiper blades

This is an unreliable wiper arm. Plastic is too cheap to withstand all weather and for long periods of time. I live in Chicago and using this wiper to clear snow off my rear window has proven to be too much leverage for this lever, not once but twice. Changed the first, the second too. The metal nut in the plastic is fine, but the plastic surrounding the nut is cracking and breaking. Low price, you get what you pay for!
