This lens was purchased in December 2020. I wanted to use it on a couple of shots before reviewing. This is my first Sigma lens and so far it's been great for my business. Real estate photography will help you in those hard-to-reach places, and the 14mm width gives me what I need. Going to the end of 24mm I can get more specific features of the house. Color reproduction is on par with any Canon lens I own, or better! The autofocus works well, you just have to find a focus point that the camera can recognize in low light. But the lens works great with autofocus. Focusing on wide-angle lenses isn't as critical as it is at other focal lengths, unless your pixel is peeking, most of the frame is in focus. Two downsides that I noticed: First, there is no IS. All my shots are taken on a tripod so it's fine, but if you like landscapes or astrophotography, the stabilization is a BIG plus! Second, vertical distortion. Typical for wide-angle lenses. Corrected in post-processing. I will be buying more Sigma lenses in the future.
