Probably ideal for backpacks whose purpose is to carry and stop light weight over a certain distance. Not so much for hard work as marching. GORUCK didn't have chest straps and I came to Amazon. Someone left a review saying it was the exact same product as GORUCK, so I took it. It's not the same product, it's not as durable. It was easy to put on and anyone familiar with the GORUCK chest harness knows that lightness is not the brand's adjective. If like me you've been looking for a chest to match GORUCK's, look elsewhere. If you have a school backpack and need a chest strap, this is probably the 5 start product for you.
