Review on 🌬️ GIGABYTE Aorus ATC800 RGB 120mm CPU Cooler: Optimal Cooling Performance with Vibrant RGB Illumination by Ma En ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unattractive product, unprofitable purchase.

A friend more experienced than me immediately said that he would not cool normally when he saw that the platform was not solidly polished, but the tubes were pressed and polished. Reading the reviews I saw problems with the backlight and installation, but there are no problems with cooling. I got it the way it is. Rating 2, because the main thing in the processor cooler is cooling, and only then flashlights. Well, a minus for the installation. Really inconvenient.

Pros
  • Beautiful. Lights up. The software is working, the backlight changes.
Cons
  • 1. The declared TDP here is 250 W, on the box and on the Gigabyte website it is more than 200W. My cooler without backlight has a TDP 183W, the processor temperature in the stress test shows a maximum of 70 degrees. Put ATC800 and in shock, 90+ degrees. I took it off and saw that there was no thermal paste in the middle of the platform, the cooler did not press due to the curvature. Returned, no problem. 2. The installation is really inconvenient, if your motherboard is already in the case, it’s generally tin, and even without it it’s not very convenient to crawl under the fan to fasten the left bolt, the right key is thrown on the side without any problems.
