The size makes it easier to grip for people with arthritis.

I don't want to give feedback too soon as the last set I bought (from another seller) broke after two months. But they are larger at the bottom and the top is easier to grab with limited power. The grinding degree setting works very easily and allows me to quickly get a coarse or finer grinding degree. Overall I like them
