This product is "what it is". Relatively cheap, relatively well made, does most of what you want. It can easily hold a plate of food or a simple craft project. I like the little cup holder. I've seen photos of units with deformed tray tables, I haven't had that. The spring pins for height adjustment are quite stiff, so the first assembly is a bit difficult. You need pretty strong fingers. I don't find it practical to adjust the height. I wish he could go up a notch. I'm a big guy in a big chair and it hits the top of my leg on the flat table top adjustment. I was able to tilt the countertop one step but then everything would slide to the back of the tray. I was hoping that it would fold up for easy storage but that's really impractical so I just completely assembled it and put it away openly where it wouldn't get in the way too much.
