Severe quality defects

My son loved his jacket and so did I until I noticed that the jacket we've worn maybe three times in less than six months was already peeling off. Very disappointed! We have matching boots but now the jacket is in bad shape. *edited to add that the design is also poor - the brim of the hat falls over my son's eyes when he wears the jacket.
