Review on Onyx Chantal Classic Loop Enamel-on-Steel 1.8 Quart Teakettle: Stylish and Practical by Elizabeth White

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great stage props, not intended for real use.

Absolutely beautiful design, beautiful whistle, and the latch on the handle is really convenient. However, you will notice in the picture that the handle is not flush with the body of the pot and has come loose after two weeks of use. The manufacturer recommends emptying and drying the kettle after each use, which is a hassle, but we tried. However, the kettle rusted almost from the first use. Our $20 TJMaxx kettle lasted longer and is stronger. I wouldn't recommend it for frequent use, but if you're just using it as a prop it makes a great addition to the kitchen.
