Poor quality teapot with faulty construction

I bought this expensive teapot because of its one piece construction to avoid rusting problems. But after 3 weeks of use, rust appeared - not on the case, but on the handle, which is not part of a solid structure. The filling tube has a design flaw: it always leaks when pouring. Tried to return but seller - Big Kitchen refused on the grounds that I missed the 30 day window by one day. It's my fault I didn't have time to check it out straight away due to Covid and I didn't notice the rust spot…

I do not recommend buying this teapot

I do not recommend buying this teapot. Bought a year and a half ago. Appearance was ok for some time and then started to fade. The bottom inside the pot has long since broken off. I understand why they tell you to add new water every day. I really took a look at it this morning and I'm shocked that I've been drinking water from this pot every day for so long. My husband usually heats the water, but I haven't checked him for a long time. I wonder what I swallowed. And now I see that I can't…

Great stage props, not intended for real use.

Absolutely beautiful design, beautiful whistle, and the latch on the handle is really convenient. However, you will notice in the picture that the handle is not flush with the body of the pot and has come loose after two weeks of use. The manufacturer recommends emptying and drying the kettle after each use, which is a hassle, but we tried. However, the kettle rusted almost from the first use. Our $20 TJMaxx kettle lasted longer and is stronger. I wouldn't recommend it for frequent use, but if…

Good product! for tableware

Oh my god. Ordered this for my mom. At first she complained that while it was easy to squeeze the handle, there was no way to keep the whistle part open unless the handle was squeezed. She hates the sound of a whistle. But the whole reason I bought her a new kettle is because she boiled the old one and it almost melted. What could have been a major disaster (fire!) was caught in time but she needed a new kettle. After using it for a while, the whistle doesn't bother her anymore - it's loud but…

Nice kettle and works great

I don't like kettles that have to be lifted with an oven mitt after boiling. We had another kettle where the handle got so hot it was awkward to use and always annoyed me. I also like how this kettle works. The part on the spout that whistles works very well. Again, my previous kettle boiled and didn't whistle, which could be dangerous. I also like the look of this kettle. It's very elegant and I feel comfortable leaving it on the stovetop as a showpiece. The only downside is that the base is a

Rusted after 2 years, warranty expired

I'm posting this review of a kettle I received. The kettle worked quite well but started to rust after about two years. The Chantal guarantee on the surface of the teapot is 5 years. I contacted Chantal to request warranty service. Chantal asked me to send them pictures of the teapot. I emailed them the pictures and then asked them twice to confirm receipt of the pictures. They stopped communicating after receiving the pictures, thereby refusing the warranty service. I have posted some of the…
