I almost never leave reviews right after I buy, but I'm pretty confident with this purchase. I haven't tested it for water resistance but with a material like this it will probably be waterproof. A few years ago I bought a wicker seat protector that worked fine, but I found these things were getting pretty brittle like a lot of these pet seat protectors. This is no small thing at all. The main photo is the same as it looks in my car. The zippered section that separates the side and center seats (in case you drop some of the seats or the armrest) is perfect for my Hyundai Sonata car. A few weeks ago I bought another protector of a similar style and that zipped center section was very large and disproportionate to the size of the seat. I do a lot in my car and trunk so that was important to me. It was also a bit squishy than this one. Luckily, Revain Prime has a great returns program that allowed me to look around and find this protector. This is no small thing at all. I'm sure its durability will last for a while. Sits firmly in the seats. There are pieces to further secure it. In addition, there is a non-slip material on the seat for stabilization. The material hardly moves. The dog can stand normally without slipping. It sheds a lot, but I can say that it's easy to clean, just give it a quick shake or vacuum. If you have a larger vehicle I assume that would work as well as there is additional stuff I need to hide in the gap. Looks great, not flimsy, the pup is happy, I'm happy. I can buy another one for my husband's car. Of course, something like this would also work to protect the seats from being disturbed by children ;). I'll update my post as needed, but for now I recommend it.
