Basic unit Bought from a big store that didn't have it in stock. This works great especially for 1 person working alone. The alternative was to spend all day on the walkie-talkie with stepdad, so that's a lot easier! The small main unit works well, but it's very easy to accidentally turn it on even when it's in the box and easy to forget to turn it off. Because of this error, I went through 9V when I first used it. When the tool is on you don't have to hold down the button either, but I thought you did, hence the errors when I first used it, but now I get it. Super accurate/useful time saver! I also recommend getting some sort of soil tester if you're incrementally upgrading an old house like I am. The garage door opener (1st gen genius) plugged into the only 3 prong outlet in the garage so assumed it was grounded, tested and NO! Be careful! They installed a new panel via the electrician, grounded many outlets in the house but I didn't check that either!
