Helped with a project I was working on. The picture is not as clear as I expected. I'll use it to remove the shards from my hand. And look at coins. A five year old will love it but isn't sure if he can handle his abuse! The instructions specifically say it cannot be used on a PC. I was able to use it with my PC with 90% success. The PC failed to recognize the camera several times. I could shoot a video and take a photo on a PC. I'm not entirely disappointed. Added 07/17: I can't use it if it's not connected to a power source. I tried changing the sleep mode and the battery lasts. It turns off in less than 3 minutes if I don't plug it into a household outlet.
