Review on πŸ”₯ Bulin Windproof Camping Stove: Lightweight Portable Cooking Tool Set for Travel, Hiking, and Backpacking by Troy Robinson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great stove, much better than many others.

First of all, this stove is made of thicker stainless steel than many of its competitors and the build quality seems really good at first glance. This is more of a camping stove than a backpack stove due to its size and weight. It comes with its own carrying case which is a plus for spreading out/car camping. The stove is powerful and gives off a lot of heat. Expect it not to skimp on fuel when the heat gets high. Also impressive is that you can reduce the heat to a minimum if you wish, to gently simmer the delicate sauce. Also nice is that the oven has a preheat tube which many ovens don't have and that can help in very cold climates or circumstances. The stove also has a built-in windscreen that works fairly well in most situations. The legs make the cooker very stable, even when you place a large pot or pan on it. Cheap pans can develop hot spots, but my Cast Iron Lodge pan distributes the heat well. There are two sizes of pot levers, but I found that I needed a cast iron gas reducer for my Stanley French Press Pot to keep it stable. As for the price. You can doubt it until you get it and see the difference in material, fit and finish and then it becomes obvious. For me this upgrade investment was worth the cost, it goes well with my car camping/scattered inventory. I'm really looking forward to getting lots of it this summer.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky
