Review on Bluedio F2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones Over-Ear with Active Noise Cancelling and Mic (White) by Nelson Calafell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An incredible amount of pure bass and possibly the most comfortable headphones Bluedio has ever produced

The Bluedio Faith F2 with ANC delivers superior sound reproduction in one of the most comfortable headphones Bluedio has ever created. The sound profile is very pleasant, with good highs, controlled mids and more bass than I expected considering they aren't advertised as having added bass and are part of the Bluedio Faith or F series. ANC works well and is similar to what was found. in the Turbine T4s, but the Faith F2's sound is a bit cleaner with more bass with ANC on than the Turbine T4s. In terms of comfort, they are surprisingly comfortable. The padding is incredibly soft. You can easily wear them for a long time without any discomfort or ear fatigue. The carrying case that comes with it is very good and offers adequate protection for the headphones. I'm a fan of Bluedio due to the build quality and sound profiles provided by the different Bluedio series and including the Faith F2 which has several different models: - Turbine T2 (my first Bluedio headphones) - Turbine T4 (recently picked up by my younger son) - Turbine T4 (recently picked up by eldest son) - Revolution R2 - Victory Pro (the gold standard for clean, punchy bass and sound quality in Bluetooth headphones) - Vinyl Plus (so close to the pure reference audiophile quality sound , which you can reach via Bluetooth) . target similar markets, prices and features. I also own a couple of wired headphones, the Grado Labs SR80e being my favorite, but I always limit my wireless headphone reviews to other wireless headphones. In this review I will briefly compare the Faith F2 to the Turbine T4 as they are the closest match to the Bluedio line in the detailed section below. Given that I have these other headphones, where does the Faith F2 fit in? Faith F2 headphones will be the ones I'll be using when I leave the house due to the sound quality and the noise canceling that's there when I need them. Now let's take a closer look at my impressions of the Bluedio Faith F2 headphones. Packaging Bluedio's usual presentation is in place, meaning it's vastly superior to what others are offering. The magnetic closure on the inner box is an example of the level of detail that Bluedio brings to their presentation. All items are securely packed with no rattling or loose items. There is space for each item in the packaging, increasing security and a premium feel. Construction Bluedio uses metal in the construction at stress points, which makes the earbuds durable. Joints and pivot points don't feel like they're going to break anytime. soon through the use of real metal. The buttons are also well made, sit securely and give good tactile feedback. The material of the carrying strap and the ear pads is of very good quality with sufficient padding. Comfort To me, these are full-size headphones that easily adjust for a comfortable fit. The ear cup padding feels very soft and does not overheat with prolonged use. And I found the clamping force was enough to ensure a good fit without feeling like a vise. User friendliness. fast and the first time (tested on multiple devices). They also automatically connect to your paired device when you turn them on without any manual steps. The buttons are in easy-to-reach places and provide good tactile feedback. Charging via the USB-C port worked as expected and charged easily from a laptop and universal USB chargers. Bluetooth quality. As mentioned in the previous section, pairing was quick and easy on IOS, Mac OS, Windows 10 and Android (my version is Android 6.0.1) devices. The Bluetooth range is excellent in almost all environments and depending on the device I'm using, I've been able to enter any room in my house, upstairs or downstairs, without losing connection. It should also be noted that there is no lag or lag when watching videos. Sound quality in normal mode. I listened to music of different genres to get the best idea of how the Faith F2 would work with different types of music. Personally, my usual taste in music tends towards music with multiple and complex layers of sound. I prefer highs and vocals to over-the-top bass, but I can appreciate good music of any kind. I found that the overall sound profile tended to sound balanced without altering the response too much to let the music's original technique shine through. well controlled and comfortable when listening to classical music. The vocals are clean and a little more real than expected, but that also depends on what type of music you're listening to and how the original recording was constructed. While not "bass head" headphones, the bass is unexpectedly strong, comfortable and I'd call that rather adequate. When clicked, the volume can get very loud and reach fairly high levels, which I personally found uncomfortable at a setting above 50. % Audio quality in ANC mode Nothing to do, using ANC compresses the sound of the music. This is an expected effect of any active noise-cancelling technology, and I've experienced it to some degree with every pair of active noise-cancelling headphones I've used. You will most likely notice that the high and low frequencies are somewhat compressed. with active ANC. The soundstage also sounds a lot smaller. I've used ANC successfully while driving (not a driver), at my favorite Starbucks, and when working in the yard with various electric lawn tools, and ANC has reduced unwanted noise. Personally, I'd much rather lose a bit of dynamic range than crank the volume up to dangerous levels to try and get through a noisy environment. One thing I've found is that on iOS devices, when you select Apple Music's Hip Hop Equalizer setting, it restores the widest dynamic range from normal mode while still reducing unwanted noise! I suspect other devices with an equalizer feature have a preset profile that works just as well. To be clear, even with EQ, I would not recommend using ANC in always-on or quiet listening environments (such as a house with normal background noise or in a library) due to the passive sound isolation provided by the gasketing and padding of the Auricle given is quite good in these cases. Microphone/Call Quality I tried the Faith F2 with my iPhone 6s and the audio quality was described by interviewees as very clear and sounded like I was using an above average external microphone. The microphone sound quality is the same when I'm using the phone for audio only calls or my MacBook Pro for live video conferencing. While this may also fall under usability, answering/ending calls, the voice assistant (Siri in my case) worked as expected with graphical feedback on the device I was using. Compared to Bluedio Turbine T4s. If you are reading this review you may be trying to decide between Faith F2 and Turbine T4s. In my personal opinion I would say that the price difference is not an issue for the Faith F2. I don't think you can go wrong with these as they produce almost similar ANC sound and efficiency. Ore and more powerful bass, and for me personally more comfortable due to the oval shape of the ear pads.
