The clamp rotates, which is very convenient when you are sitting. The flip cover keeps your phone from slipping out and stays closed with magnets, but it won't hurt your phone. The material is thick and feels like leather. The insert is wide enough to fit phones with most protective cases. The build quality feels solid, including where the plastic belt clip attaches to the case. The way the lid closes allows it to accommodate the longest phones. I use with Samsung Galaxy S8+ in a case. I have had the product for several months without any problems or complaints. The nice thing is that I can use the case with future phones.
