Review on PackIt Freezable Lunch Closure Black by Sander Savala

The design idea of this product is great but the quality is terrible. The fridge keeps the food cool enough until lunch if I leave it on my table, but you risk eating before you go out. I really expected it to stay cooler longer, but this keeps it at room temperature. If I keep it in a company fridge it will stay much colder for much longer, but if I have to keep it in a fridge what use is its cooling function to me? I was able to handle the chilling time but I am very disappointed with the quality. After a few months, the locking tab ripped at one corner, further separating the velcro on that side. A few months later I stopped holding one of the three velcro straps. If they had persevered, a cracked valve wouldn't have been such a big deal. All in all, I can hardly recommend a product that is so badly built, even if the cooling properties were excellent. I will not buy this brand again.
