Installation was very easy. Can be done in 10-15 minutes. I would rate this product a little better if the included ratchet strap protected your device better. It holds but easily detaches from the mounting edges. It is essentially a lightweight elastic band that attaches to the ends of the binding with two small metal hooks. The hooks are too small to hold the bungee securely in place. If your device is pushed too far to the side, the bungee will disengage and your device will disappear. Also, the rubber bungee is pretty small and barely wraps around my little LG Blu-ray player. If you have a wide device, the bungee will not work. I don't think the bungee is long enough to wrap around a PS3. This can cause your device to fall to the ground if you're not careful. The adjustable depth plate works well but isn't enough to securely hold the unit in place. If you move your device to a more earthy side without a bungee, it will most likely fall off unless you clamp it very tightly between the adjustable mounting plate. I need to see if my Blu-ray player falls. In the end I'm happy with the product as I only have a small cheap Blu-ray player. I would not trust this product with any expensive device like PlayStation or X-Box etc.
