broken and bad design for me

I am angry that I received the previously returned iron. This does not heat up at all and there was water in the tank when the box was opened. I wonder how many times this item has been shipped and returned? Aside from the fact that this one doesn't work at all, I've decided that I really don't like the fog trigger where it's located. If I could use it, I'd be sweating and steaming my clothes all the time. I just want to be able to use the steam boost function without the fog trigger getting in

. This iron is for my elderly mother as it seemed a good basic iron

I bought this iron for my elderly mother as it seemed a good basic iron, easy to use and light weight. It was bought in May 2017 and broke in September 2017 after 4 months. I contacted customer service and it took me a long time to contact them. Sunbeam customer service was extremely difficult to deal with and refused to repair or replace this unit under warranty. I urge everyone to avoid this particular model due to its short lifespan and Sunbeam in general due to poor customer service.

Ironing is my new hobby

I agree with everyone rating this iron. I'm in the middle of a major wardrobe upgrade and ironing has become a part of my life. Having recently used a Sunbeam iron purchased 20 years ago and still brand new, switching to this Sunbeam was like getting behind the wheel of a luxury sedan. Wow, the feel in the hand, the ease of movement on the fabric, the many controls available combined with the cool chrome and neon blue color scheme make this iron a favorite. It has great features like a long…

Works well, a few annoying features.

Works very well - does what it is supposed to. However, the on/off switch is embedded in the dial, which is very difficult to turn. The dial sits low under the grip and requires some force to turn. I'm a man, but I have to use two hands to turn the dial. I'd rather have a separate power button so I can turn it off and leave the watch face in the same setting I always use. But to click on it, you have to spin the wheel all the way. Another extremely annoying feature is that the LED stays on all…

Works great but I don't like some features

I have some conflicting reviews on these 3 stars as the performance of the iron is great and I really like how it works and how it vaporizes. However, there are a few features that I don't like. The way you have to fill the water tank is cumbersome. You have to use one hand to hold it open as it won't stay open while you fill it. My last ray of sunshine was so easy to fill. Also, the tank itself is on a dark gray background and it's a little hard to tell how empty it is or how high it is when…

Hit&miss best in Irons

This is my second ray of sunshine. There will be no third. My first iron gave out steady steam at times, but a steady burst of steam. This iron provides steady steam and no steam. The box was torn and sealed with tape so I'm assuming someone tried this iron, was unsatisfied and sent it back and it was sent to me with no improvements or corrections. As I like the sole and the constant vapor I keep it to myself. Just too tired to bring it back. I'll get through until he gives up. I think the…

Irons should not be disposable.

**Updated after 21 months, this iron no longer works. heating stopped. I'm amazed why we can't get irons that last as long as the ones our moms had. First Review: Why did you design an iron with a spray button on the bottom of the handle? This makes it difficult to hold the pen and I have to be careful not to press too hard and accidentally hit the spray button. I rarely use the atomizer button because I don't like wasting distilled water and use a regular atomizer instead. The function I use…

Finally a sexy iron!

If you love the LOOK of this iron (analogue version) with its bright turquoise sole, treat yourself. This is a rare SEXY iron! If looks are important to you, you'll SMILE every time you have to iron, and this little fun makes up for some of the little troubles. Here's what you might NOT like: 1. You can't fill the steam tank without laying the iron flat. This is normal when you first start ironing, but expect a charge mess if you try to hold the iron flush to the board (but not touching the…
