Review on Enhance Your Ironing Experience with the Sunbeam AERO Ceramic Soleplate Iron in Blue by Brad Bowers

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works well, a few annoying features.

Works very well - does what it is supposed to. However, the on/off switch is embedded in the dial, which is very difficult to turn. The dial sits low under the grip and requires some force to turn. I'm a man, but I have to use two hands to turn the dial. I'd rather have a separate power button so I can turn it off and leave the watch face in the same setting I always use. But to click on it, you have to spin the wheel all the way. Another extremely annoying feature is that the LED stays on all the time while it's plugged in. I was expecting the light to come on when the iron is on and turn off when you turn the iron off. I solved it by wrapping it with electrical tape, but not perfectly. Of the pluses, it heats up quickly, and the sole does not get dirty. But I prefer a dimmable light and won't buy another iron that doesn't have a separate on/off button.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • There are problems
