Review on Enhance Your Ironing Experience with the Sunbeam AERO Ceramic Soleplate Iron in Blue by Quartreal Eagleman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hit&miss best in Irons

This is my second ray of sunshine. There will be no third. My first iron gave out steady steam at times, but a steady burst of steam. This iron provides steady steam and no steam. The box was torn and sealed with tape so I'm assuming someone tried this iron, was unsatisfied and sent it back and it was sent to me with no improvements or corrections. As I like the sole and the constant vapor I keep it to myself. Just too tired to bring it back. I'll get through until he gives up. I think the engineers on this model care more about the protective gizmo than the real reason you're buying an iron: wrinkle removal. Don't you think that vaping should come before ergonomics? But there is not a single pair in the rating checklist. Guys, it's a steam iron! The dial is very awkward to use, as is the grip design with inconsistent button layouts. Sunbeam, hire ironwomen to design and test your products, not mass production process engineers. Bring back solid American craftsmanship and stop outsourcing. I'd tell you you get what you pay for (it was a cheap iron, after all) but I spent megabucks on the Rowenta top line and it leaked like a colander. So I'm confused.
