I have a unique, I think, use for these wonderful little lights. I use them to guide me when backing my motorhome into the garage. The motorhome is long, so if the lights are both visible, then I am on the correct path. I tried reflectors and that was fine except when it was late aka dark. Anyway, these guys work great now that I learned they have a dimmer switch. When on full they are perfect for my use. When one is less than full, it was like the reflector, not good. I didn't realize they dimmed until I was about to throw out the box, which has the dimmer info on the outside. How strange to put instructions on the outside of a box. Duh. They hold up well and the magnets are adequate to hold my beacons in place on the wall. Nothing but good to say about them for my use. FYI, I used the included pad with adhesive to attache to the wall then attached the included metal wafer to the smooth side of the pad. The magnet seems very secure with this arrangement.
