DO NOT BUY. The product seems decent but the product page is very deceptive showing a picture of two brackets when in fact there is only one. Very ashamed.

These brackets are ideal for Deco equipment as they offer a fairly tidy look whilst hiding the extra power cord inside the unit. I was able to install the device by simply plugging the assembled device into a wall outlet. You don't really need them if you're going to place your Deco unit on a desk or table, but I haven't had a good spot to put it somewhere that has better Wi-Fi coverage without these devices. My Deco M9 consists of 3 blocks, 2 of which are easy to place exactly where you need them and there is food nearby. When I got to the placement of the third, I found that the only flat surface in the area didn't have an outlet nearby and the available outlet was across the room/corridor and didn't have a decent flat surface nearby. This is the neatest, cleanest and least obtrusive way to wall mount your Decos and practically out of sight. I was concerned that pointing the antenna at a 90 degree angle from its normal plane and placing it on a table would affect the signal, but after some moderately repeated testing (using my phone as a handheld wifi meter and the speedtest. net app) I did not notice any degradation in signal quality. either signal speed or speed tests.

The mounts feel solid and the router fits nicely. The shape for the power block is there and fits exactly. The only problem I have is the cable spacers. The ones in the photo are good, they fit well but they can be used. However, my brackets had extra smaller protrusions between them that were too small for the cable to get around. This results in the cable not being held in those places as it should be at the top.

It's hard to believe that TP-Link hasn't (or couldn't) come up with its own wall mount design, but this simple, affordable third-party product makes it possible. It was easy for me to coil and hide the power cord inside the unit. Too bad TP-Link made the fork body SO big, but that's not Stanstar's fault. Five stars!

Clean, concise appearance, keeps things organized and works in any standard outlet leaving another outlet open. It can also be used with a router plugged into an overhead outlet if the router is positioned over the outlet (upside down as shown). Perfect fit and amazingly durable. The deco is a bit heavy but keeps it securely on the base. Coil the wire to the ideal length.
