I installed these pulleys and cords on the side of the dishwasher where the original cord snapped. I snapped both cables pretty quickly. This was most likely because the angle of the casters needed to be more vertical than the ones I was replacing. I tried to reproduce how the originals were installed (I took photos) but really had no idea how fragile these parts could be and they both broke as soon as I lowered the door. I then ordered another cheaper set of these parts from another manufacturer, left the original pulleys in place and just installed the cable. The only thing I did differently was I adjusted the old roll knot to be more vertical based on a tip I read on another site. There are no directions. You are on your own with this project and for me it was just trial and error. The new cable works great now.
