Works well but seller's photos are inaccurate/misleading. I almost sent it back when I received it because the shape wasn't what I expected. At first glance he looked devastated, but then I realized that he was indeed conceived that way. The crown is wide in one direction and narrow in the other, and looks like a rectangle from above. In testing I found out why it's narrow in one direction - so it can go in and out of the blender while the bowl is in place. . Despite the unexpected shape, it works great in my Professional 6! Because of the way KitchenAid rotates, this shape is probably even better than if it were perfectly round. In addition, the elongated shape makes it easy to store.
