🥣 5 and 6 Quart Lift Stand Mixer 11-Wire Whip by KitchenAid Review

Not sure if I got a broken one but it was oblong not round like it was broken. It looked very sturdy and well made, but I think there is something wrong with mine. In the Q&A someone asked, it should be oblong, but most people answered it's round, so I think I got a broken one.

Seriously! With this whisk, I can turn egg whites into a stiff meringue in three minutes or less. Meringue dessert is a real godsend for me, I have dear friends, some of whom can't eat gluten and some of whom can't eat dairy, but almost all of them can eat meringue! I'm very happy with it! He did an excellent job. I find my cakes fluffier and I get even more compliments on my cakes!

This 11 Wire Whisk really takes KitchenAide to the next level! Teenage son now often makes meringues (mint-just-because with unused lollipops, chocolate with vanilla ice cream in them). Cleaning is a breeze in warm soapy water and probably in the dishwasher. A great addition - for anyone interested in the regular wire whip that came with Kitchen Aide - it currently just takes up storage space in the kitchen.

I love this whip! After accidentally dropping the spatula in the mixer while it was moving and bending the native aluminum whisk, I started looking for a new one. However, I didn't want to pay such a high price for it. The whisk that came with the mixer was only 6 wires, aluminum and discolored when I put it in the dishwasher. Works well but seller's photos are inaccurate/misleading. I almost sent it back when I received it because the shape wasn't what I expected. If anyone reads about this whisk you will find that it does its job better and works with the mixer much easier. Woman doing lots and lots of divinity during the holidays! Make sure you have the right Kitchenaid model for this whisk. This does NOT apply to the 5 quart model. Now that whisk is stainless steel, which ALL Kitchenaid mixer attachments should be made of, but of course it's not. The quality of this SS whisk is excellent, when I compare it to the included 6 liter whisk I just want to throw away the aluminum. Aluminum nozzles drive me crazy. I need to hand wash them asap instead of soaking them and then hand wiping them after washing otherwise oxidation…
