This is a cheap bed skirt and unfortunately looks the part. It's made from cheap polyester and has a slight sheen to it. It's not a full 14 inches either, but a drop from 12 to 13 inches. The 'concept' of the sling is great as I wash my ruffles a lot as I have 7 dogs that like to nap under the bed and leave their fur on my ruffle but that's really the only good thing I do What I can say about it is that it is easy to put on and take off. My biggest issue with this bed ruffle is the lack of ruffles, they take twice the fabric of what they actually used to make it look as disheveled and full as it does in the product image, which annoys me because I hate when things are distorted , but it's one and you won't get the curvy, beautiful look you see on the product page. You get a much tighter "stretched" look with little collection, so it looks like a huge flop if you want quality and full view. The only time I see it would be ok is if you use it on maybe a college crib to cover under bed storage and even then you have to iron it (the hem is very crumpled and bad done) and the trick with is that it doesn't look like a rag. I do not recommend this.
