0.3 mil is the ideal thickness. Don't use thinner plastic.

Received this garment to protect furniture during renovations. You're worth it! 0.3 mil is the perfect thickness for my purposes - not too thick and not too thin. The packaging also convinced me. Drop clothing is individually bagged in easy-open flip-top bags. Scissors are not required. All bags are in a resealable ziplock bag. There is a cloth bag in the packaging for storing excess plastic. The plastic is slightly milky, but you can clearly see what you're covering. They definitely protect furniture and walls from paint drips and splashes. You can't beat these falling dresses for the price.
