I had to insulate a section of our 4 inch PVC drain between cleanings to apply root killer. Side depth is 9 feet. I bought a garden hose adapter to NPT from a local big box, pulled out the included schrader valve fitting, used my adapter and connected it to my compressor through an air hose. I really didn't want to use water to build up the pressure. I also pulled the included handle/strap and replaced it with a 12 foot piece of rope. Each of the plugs came out clean, the air hose and rope attached with no issues and rotated 90 degrees in the tee. I opened the compressor valve and pressurized it to about 50psi, which was enough to inflate and seal the plugs. I used the root canal (soaking) for 8 hours and there was no leakage through the plugs. Overall, they worked very well for my purposes. I'm not sure they'll be of any use to me in the long run, but they appear to be well built and I have no doubt they'll be ready the next time I need to clog a pipe.
