I don't what happened to these shade sails coming out of China. Two years ago (2019) I designed a shade area for my deck consisting of 3 posts and one house attachment. 12 x 12. I had no problems with 12 x 12 sails which tightened very well with little sag. The only problem was when it rained, the sail would collect water and sag. Ruined the sail. So, I would order another and keep better track of the weather. These are not made to be in rain. I get that. This is my 4th sail in a couple of weeks and all have had sagging problems with ratchetted tension without any rain. They're cut improperly. I will continue my quest to find a sail that works.
