Review on Supershieldz Garmin GPSMAP Protector Fingerprint by Chris Kidd

The screen protector is a bit large and overlaps the edge of my Garmin 64s screen. The right side of the screen fits snugly against the edge of the screen protector, but still sticks out over the edge on the other side. See illustration. The problem is that the edge catches and then peels off. Also, I use this in a dusty environment that quickly gets stuck below the edge of the screen. It would be better if they made the screen a bit narrower as it doesn't need to protect the edges of the screen. screen, you only need to protect the parts of the screen that the display penetrates. I could try cutting another one, but I'll probably see if I can exchange/return it first. Even with this screen fitting properly, the matte finish (no glare) seems to muddy the picture. It's not a clean, clear view. I believe the matte finish is meant to reduce glare, but it also makes the image look a little blurry. I'll have to try it in the sun, but I think a clear, glossy screen would be better than the hazy finish on this screen.
