I find that the leather steering wheel can be a bit slippery, especially when driving with gloves. The steering wheel also has heat damage from the sun on top. With this product, the wheel is covered and it is now easy to maintain a strong, non-slip grip on the wheel. As others have reported, it's relatively difficult to install, but it actually works in its favor if you're just looking for better traction and not a fatter wheel. After purchasing another product that was much thicker, I found that one of them would wander or slide sideways on the bike, but this one didn't move at all. He can be moved but doesn't seem to want to like the fatter ones did. For starters, this case is pretty thin, so fitting it to a 14.5-inch handlebar may have made it even thinner. It doesn't completely cover the wheel so there is a lug on the inside, but stretching on installation leaves the lug quite tight and therefore tolerable, although this can be subjective. Having tried a few now, this one is my favorite. The heated steering wheel feature seems to work well with it, although I'm usually halfway to work before I notice it with or without the boot (short trips).
