Well it works but it's very hard to do it perfectly. If this is even slightly wrong, all bubbles tend to exit through the higher ledge. It still does its job but seems inefficient. Part of the problem lies in the crappy suction cups that come with the kit - the diffuser slides right out of them at the slightest attempt to adjust it. I swapped out one of the suction cups and that helped a bit. It's extremely delicate - I always feel like breaking it and judging by many of the other reviews here this is a common occurrence. You definitely won't want to use it in a cichlid tank! (Perhaps this is a moot point - cichlids and live plants don't mix anyway, but you get the idea.) Like I said, it works and I'm using it, but I'm definitely looking for a better way to spray. CO2. I'm hoping to switch this tank to an external filter next year - back then the only way out was a built in diffuser (so I'm told).
