Great product, best among aquarium pumps and filters

I wasn't sure after reading some of the reviews, it's been 2 weeks now and it's fantastic. Starts multi-bubble jets, can count the supplied air bubbles. For the price you can't go wrong. According to the instructions, you have to wait about a day for the water in the bell to even out, after that everything was perfect.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best

I like this little diffuser for my citric acid co2 system

I like this little diffuser for my citric acid co2 system. Works like a charm when soaked all day. Big little stream of bubbles. Placed at the bottom of the tank below the filter outlet, I have virtually no bubbles going to the top. Defects. The suction cups that come with it are terrible. There's really no use just trying to get it properly upright on the glass. I dug the bottom 1/2 inch or so into the sub, wrapped the sub around it, and then the cups in addition to what seems to be holding it

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • hard to say

It still works but doesn't seem to be efficient

Well it works but it's very hard to do it perfectly. If this is even slightly wrong, all bubbles tend to exit through the higher ledge. It still does its job but seems inefficient. Part of the problem lies in the crappy suction cups that come with the kit - the diffuser slides right out of them at the slightest attempt to adjust it. I swapped out one of the suction cups and that helped a bit. It's extremely delicate - I always feel like breaking it and judging by many of the other reviews here…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Good but not great
