I like this little diffuser for my citric acid co2 system. Works like a charm when soaked all day. Big little stream of bubbles. Placed at the bottom of the tank below the filter outlet, I have virtually no bubbles going to the top. Defects. The suction cups that come with it are terrible. There's really no use just trying to get it properly upright on the glass. I dug the bottom 1/2 inch or so into the sub, wrapped the sub around it, and then the cups in addition to what seems to be holding it in place. Cleaning is a pain. I don't think this is really a fault, but it just comes with this type of diffuser. If you soak it in bleach water, the water will slowly seep through the ceramic element into the chamber. You have to so pour in to rinse before you put it in the tank. This can be done with a syringe, but it's laborious. I do my best to soak it back in water with Prime overnight.
