I thought I made a mistake ordering these clothespins considering I paid about $16 when they were regular size clothespins sell in the dollar store. However, when they arrived and I had to try them, I realized how much better they are. Not only are they easier to handle, but they also hold the laundry on the line much better in strong winds and don't rip like the little ones. Best of all, if you use clothes hangers in your laundry, the holes in these giant pegs are perfect for the regular plastic kind, meaning they are strong enough to hold specialty laundry items to dry on the outside hanger (see image) . Before I knew it, I would sometimes find my toiletries in a pile of dirt, knocked off their hangers by inclement weather. I went back to buy more but they were sold out. I don't have Prime so I usually add another bag to my cart when I want to check out my order for free shipping.
