I'm in college so I'm trying to dye my own hair to save money. I think this is a really great way. Before and after photos and my hair was previously silver/platinized but if you notice there were still blonde highlights in my hair. It bothered me how inconsistent it was and I had to keep going to Sally's for toner or I used purple shampoo and my hair looked a little purple if I left it on too long. I followed the youtuber's advice and mixed this color with conditioner to saturate it a bit. I've done my best to make equal parts and apply it evenly throughout my hair and I'm very happy with the result. My hair was light enough to change color, but I learned that if it wasn't white enough or opaque, it wouldn't work. To be honest, the success was all about bleaching and killing my hair. However, I love how even my hair looks and when I double the condition of my hair it becomes very soft. It's a bit darker than I'd like, but it's semi-permanent so I suspect it will fade a bit. But for the price it's fantastic. Highly recommended if you know what you are doing. Haha
