Although it's a bulky case, it saves lives for people like me. When I accidentally dropped my phone while riding a motorcycle, not only did the phone survive the fall, but there was not a single scratch on the case and phone. On another occasion, the phone fell face down onto a huge rock from waist height, the edge of the screen saved my screen from shattering in this case. While I'm not a big fan of the screen protector itself, it gives a rainbow effect after a while, replacing it with real tempered glass like I did on mine is a cheap solution. I would recommend this to everyone else if you didn't get Apple Care+ for your $1200 purchase.
