I love everything about this simple little lamp! I get migraines easily. The light in my office is very bright. My brain hurts. This lamp too. If I have a light at an angle to the desk, it's still too bright for me. I actually rotate the gooseneck so the light is on the wall and it's absolutely perfect. Bright enough that I can still read well, but dark enough that I don't get a headache! Lots of compliments and I'm about to get one as a birthday present for a colleague! I also love how the plastic base feels like leather and the neck is silky smooth. No need to press the buttons, just touch the buttons. The light strip warms up, but not much.
