Pretty small accessory at a significantly lower price point than Apple (this one also seems to be a bit more durable). I've been using it daily for several months with no problems. As with all such connectors, minimizing stress on the cable, particularly at the point of connection, is fundamental to maintaining its functionality. I'm currently using it to connect a Macbook Pro with a Retina display to an older Apple Cinema display. I use two of these and they fit perfectly side by side in the Thunderbolt ports. Never had any problems. Not sure what else to say other than it just works and continues to work and looks like a good solid accessory.
