worked fine the first few times I used it. tried to use it next time and even though the device was on, it didn't detect the temperature from the sensor. I emailed the company asking for a probe replacement. They respond by saying they will take care of it. that's a month ago. I have emailed them several times over the past month asking for a status update but they have never bothered to reply again. not really sure what they call a "lifetime warranty" - maybe because you have to wait a lifetime for them to honor the warranty? meanwhile i need a thermometer for the holidays so i buy it from another company.
