Hot Trash is Best in Computers & Accessories

Specific problems I'm having: Both monitors turn off at random intervals, image noise (e.g. monitor turns off, resolution changes for no apparent reason, when laptops wake up.I would say that on average I have to remove the KVM every 2 hours or so.That means on a typical work day I'm fiddling with cables, rebooting my computer or turning the KVM on and off about 4 times a day My setup: Two monitors connected to KVM via HDMI An external USB 3.1 hub: printer, keyboard, mouse, webcam Hub connected to kvm via USB 3.1 device to USB a.A Macbook Pro connected to the Caldigit TS docking station 3. Connected to kvm via a displayport cable, a USB C to HDMI converter, then to a HDMI cable, USB 3.0 Type A port for USB devices A MacBook Pro connected to owc Thunderbo lt 3 Dock. Connected to KVM via a Mini Displayport to Displayport cable, a USB-C to HDMI converter, then to HDMI cable, Type USB 3.0 - USB device connector. No, the cables are not a problem because when I connect them directly to the monitors or directly to the hub I have no problems. Yes, I've spent a lot of time on permutations. I bought this particular kvm because I saw a video from the manufacturer showing the Macbook Pro connected to the docking station. There are so many bad KVMs out there and such a wide price range that it's incredibly difficult to find a working solution without experimenting with different products.
