Review on AmScope T490A PCS Magnification High Resolution Phase Contrast by Dave Knain

A good microscope for its price range. I wasn't disappointed at all. AmScope provides excellent customer service which I find very helpful. Useful additional items were sent immediately. The instruction booklets aren't the best, but help is readily available via email request. Owning this microscope was a very good experience. I recorded about 500 images of pond life on my computer which I now use on an inexpensive Celestron microscope camera. I also bought an AmScope FMA050 microscope camera. This camera seems to have a lot of potential, but learning how to use it turns out to be an "experience". The manual (downloaded) is over a hundred pages. This instruction manual could be improved, as it is understood that buyers of cameras are experienced in photomicrography and beginners in the field can use this camera "difficult". (I find this to be true of most manuals written in China.) Perseverance will "win the day." AmScope will quickly help solve any problem.
