Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for what it does, especially for the price.

If you're looking for an affordable yet reliable smartwatch that does 90% of what expensive watches do, you've come to the right place. I'm giving it a 4.6 so I'm rounding up to 5 stars as it's exactly what I need and the price is great. It does the workout monitoring I want while providing the communication features I need. End of the story. From my point of view as the owner of a high-end Samsung phone, a smartwatch should have the following main functions: 1. It can do what only a watch can do, e.g. B. checking heart rate etc. OR2. This gives you quick access to information that is awkward to access on your phone. So while I exercise regularly and it's nice to have a heart rate monitor and all the features that come with it, I don't need anything more complicated than that. (I doubt I'll ever use it to track my steps 24/7; I know (whether I was a snail. And I probably won't track my sleep, so you should look at other people's reviews about the watch. to see how well it works.) But - on point 2 - I often go to business meetings, etc ., where it is indecent to pick up the phone, but it is very important to know if the call is coming and where from whom, or to be able to read text in secret. (Now I have a hybrid watch that tells me if I'm getting a text or a call, but doesn't tell me from who other than the 6 numbers provided.) So while I'm craving a smart watch, I still have never seen me have to spend $270 for a watch that does what I don't need it to do. Yes, I've seen ads for cheap gadgets on Facebook, but when I dig into the details, the reviews often turn out to be from unknown companies and full of glitches. A solid track record is important to me. As the proud owner of Tranya (T10) headphones and their noise canceling headphones, I had to take their offering of affordable smartwatches seriously. I'm glad I did. Health and fitness monitoring seems accurate, and notifications for incoming text messages and phone calls are accurate. (Although I couldn't register a call reject button on the phone, incoming calls that I can't answer just wait to be sent to voicemail.) It's so great. To be honest, any reservations I have about the phone seem to stem from the third-party Glory Fit software it relies on. It starts with installing software on your phone being a bit counterintuitive (kept asking for screen login codes, never emailed but doesn't seem really needed) and limited documentation for doing so. But this 65-year-old man was able to install it. The types of drills it tracks (badminton?) are a little odd, but it does the walking (if you're using a 'running' monitor) and general drill monitoring that I need. I had problems with the music control feature with the default music player on my Samsung phone, but that was fixed when I installed the free VLC media player on my phone. And I can't figure out if (or how if I can) I need to add my email program for the phone to recognize it, but that's a minor detail. Again, there's little point in using the watch for something you'll want to use the phone itself for anyway when you have time, whether that's reading email or making a call. With these few exceptions. , the phone has almost all the basic extra features of an expensive watch: multiple face designs, timer, alarm clock, stopwatch, music controller, camera controller, sedentary reminder, brightness adjustment, flashlight and find phone. Both the strap is comfortable and the watch itself is lightweight, allowing me to wear it all day to work (unlike my bulky hybrid watch, which I always take off when I get to my desk as it's awkward to put on). to type).
