This stuff really works. I used it to attach the model train cable and it works fine after getting everything right (third try). First you have to mix the hell out of it. Not just "shake" or "stir". You need to collect the velcro from the bottom of the jar and mix thoroughly. It takes time, it's not easy, and when you think you're done mixing, keep doing it for 5 more minutes (that was my first mistake, not mixing enough). If you then use glue, make sure your joints are very clean and that they are in close contact with each other before applying the glue. To fix the train, I first had to secure everything with tape. Then when you apply the glue, LESS is MORE. You only need the bare minimum to keep it in place and connect. After mixing properly on the second try, I used a lot of glue because I thought it held and bonded better. Instead, it simply absorbed electricity and created resistance. On the third try I finally used only the smallest drop. After it was completely dry, I glued it with super glue and it worked. So if you do it right, learn from my mistakes, it works very well and is very simple. Now I have a working train.
