Performance is not as good as I could expect after spending over 2k. Although it ranks first on the graphics card test website, it doesn't seem to be as powerful as you might think. It also gets hot, so I don't think this card is overly efficient compared to others. I've seen temperatures in excess of 85 degrees Celsius on the standard watch. My 1060 was overclocked and only had one fan, but rarely went above 80c. My favorite part of it is probably the light show he gives you. The way it lights up with a rainbow glow effect is the coolest thing I've ever installed on a PC. My main hopes were to improve graphics and performance in the DCS world in VR mode. My previous 1060 worked fine but was buggy. It's like the bitrate drops when I make a turn or turn my head, but just fly quietly, can't tell that much. Increasing the resolution completely destroyed the gameplay. It was literally impossible to play at max resolution. Unfortunately after updating to the 3080ti the game had the same issue I had on my 1060. Now the problem doesn't seem to be with my graphics card, but maybe with the software. I've spent hundreds of hours trying to fix the problem already without success. And thousands of dollars didn't seem to help. The frame rate improved but was still very low. I didn't use a frame rate monitor for testing, but I don't think I get more than 30 fps. This is despite the fact that he became medium-high. At maximum settings it will still drop below 10fps, which is terrible, but with my 1060 it will be even the world, literally 1fps. Not to mention the extreme flawiness, like a screwed up movie with reptiles trying to get onto the screen to get you. Luckily the light show makes up for that a bit, otherwise I would have given this 3080ti one star. This new technology like virtual reality needs some time before they fix all the bugs as virtual reality has only just started to become mainstream. I just want an update to come out that fixes my performance issues. Also, this card still can't play War Thunder on my VIVE pro 2. It works on my Oculus, not on VIVE. I did everything I could think of. Tried updating everything and changing many settings but almost nothing fixed. There are still many games that either don't work or are buggy. I expected this card to render full graphics at high frame rates. It does, but doesn't solve the problems you may already be having playing VR on your PC. And don't expect this thing to work without getting hot. Playing on full settings, get ready to make your entire PC hotter than you've ever experienced. It's amazing how hot this card gets, which tells me it's below par. Just one day in the future I can imagine that they will finally master the production of graphics cards and come out with a beast that will give you maximum performance at full graphics settings without heating up your entire room. Unfortunately, this card isn't the monster I was looking for, but it's still at the top at this point. I feel like the performance this card offers for the price I paid just doesn't add up. As if I could buy 5 PS5s with just one of these graphics cards. But knowing that I got the card that took first place in the benchmarks definitely makes me relieved that I've finally made it to the top. I never thought that one day I would have a graphics card that would be the first among all. But don't let that fool you too much, because although the 3080ti was larger than the 3090, the latter still performed about 10% better. Just having this graphics card and seeing the rainbow of cards shine through my display case reminds me that if you want something very badly, you will always get it, no matter how hard you want it hard enough. I really wanted it so I spent most of my bank and was visibly disappointed with the upgrade from 1060. The map kinda reminds me of DCS world trailers. They make it look so great, but when you actually test it, you're going to be a bit disappointed. Like it's the most powerful of them all, but it won't improve a game that isn't optimized or full of glitches. Это, вероятно, даст вам более высокую частоту кадров, но если у вас уже есть приличная карта и у вас есть игра, в которой она почти не работает, то, скорее всего, игровой движок плохо оптимизирован, и даже этот 3080ti даст вам то, What do you want. so wow Owning this card is probably one of the greatest achievements of my life. Because of the scarcity, so many want it but can't. I even thought that the existence of this map was a myth. When I saw that it was sold out everywhere, all my hopes were dashed. But today I installed it right here on my computer. Yes I think it's a waste of money but I ended my life anyway. Life sucks, so instead of wasting money on living expenses, why not just build a virtual reality gaming system and take it to the next level of the future? The rainbow glow effect this card has is just out of this world. It's like I can't stop thinking about how beautifully it glows. I've probably mentioned this 10 times, but this card shines so beautifully that words or pictures can't describe it unless you see it up close for yourself. Unfortunately, this is probably my favorite part of this map. Performance is great BUT the amount of heat it generates is ridiculous. It's like I expected better performance with less cooling as I expected it to be an efficient card. I was so wrong Even if I light 10 candles in my PC case I don't think it gets as hot as this card. So, basically, if you are serious about your life and have the budget not to spend money on unnecessary things, then by no means buy this card. I only bought it because my life is a joke and I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow was my last day. This card is like what I should have had before I died and now my life seems more complete than ever. I've also found that 12GB of VRAM isn't enough for me. When playing the DCS world in VR, even before the graphics are fully enabled, the VRAM is already up to 12GB. I'm currently considering upgrading to a 3090 with 24GB of RAM. The big disappointment is that the 3080ti doesn't have enough video memory. I really thought that 12GB of VRAM would be enough for me, but unfortunately it became a bottleneck in my performance. VR definitely takes a lot of video memory, especially the Vive Pro 2 with its 5k display. I really thought this card would take my VR experience to the next level, but unfortunately it didn't really impress me. Update after a few weeks of use: After a few days or a week I noticed that it started to produce artifacts on the loading screen from time to time. while playing RuneScape. For example when I'm teleporting and the screen goes black I sometimes see unwanted artifacts like it might crash. Now it doesn't seem to crash when it produces these artifacts, but it reminds me that overclocking my old GPU produced similar artifacts before the crash. While these artifacts don't crash, they do crash occasionally, like once or twice a day in heavy games. These artifacts are visible at default clock settings before overclocking. I heard the problem is due to bad capacitors in video memory. The only way to stop seeing artifacts is to lower the frequency. Overclocking is great for performance, but downclocking is what I don't like. You can still overclock it, but there's no point unless you have extreme cooling upgrades. In my setup it can get to 85C even with the default clock when it starts throttling and affecting performance. So in general, overclocking this card doesn't cost anything other than getting a lot. Now, after all these issues, I'm still giving two stars instead of one because the light show still sets my computer system apart from the rest.
