
My only negative comment is that you have to remove the entire installation from the boat to drain the boat after it is out of the water. This would mean disconnecting the wires completely or twisting the wires until they unthreaded and hung. Not good anyway. BUT! If it had a third threaded hole with a plug, it would be easy to drain the hold without removing the lantern. I drilled and cut another hole with a threaded plug installed for this purpose. Works great now! I'll let you know how long the lights actually stay on since my boat has been in the water all summer. So far, so good.
