The shape is better than regular toothpicks. As good as interstitial brushes.
I struggled with flossing every day, so I discovered these wooden sticks a few years ago. They are better than regular toothpicks because they are triangular and clean the gum line better than round toothpicks. They can break at the top, so it's best to use them carefully. They are disposable, like a toothpick. The mint flavor is fleeting, but it didn't bother me. Occasionally I also use interstitial brushes; I think these picks work just as well and cost a lot less each.
