We bought this little gem for our little one so she can tidy up her room after crafts. It looks good in her room next to her little destiny table, where she makes everything out of paper. It is said that these creatures were me and my wife, a dog, cats and even other family members. I would compare them to golems from Jewish folklore. They have no true form and haunt my nightmares. I woke up in the morning to find them strewn on the floor, reaching out to me as I took my first steps of the day. When asked by the little girl if she put them there, she always replies "no" and runs away in a screaming fit, laughing when asked to pick them up. Did they get her under their control? Is my daughter really still my daughter? These questions keep me up at night. She still hasn't figured out how to throw things away, but all the time, but the trash can will serve its purpose one day, I know that.
