The perfect authentic Herm Sprenger! Spiked collars are great training tools that I use on my dog as well as my friends and family's dogs that I help train. When used properly, they can be an incredible tool to help owners feel safe and secure when interacting with their dogs. PLEASE NEVER put this on a dog's head, I've seen so many reviews saying they had to put it on a dog's head because they didn't have a zip...it should NEVER be put on a dog's head . The teeth should be clenched and loosened, wrapped around the dog's neck just behind the ears, and clenched again. Most dogs will need their teeth removed depending on the size of the tines you purchase. My 70 lb Lab had 3 prongs removed from the 3.32 collar but had 3 prongs added to the 2.25 collar. Please watch Tom Davis' YouTube video before using it...don't smack it on the dog's neck and expect it to work. They work when used properly and I always recommend owners to see an instructor or watch at least a dozen YouTube videos on the subject.
